Back to "work", at "Jardin de Luxembourg"…


I kind of like this picture...
the chairs are empty but they don't seem to be.


This man was wearing a knitted cap in the heat!!
But he was at least barefoot.


Feels good to have had time and possibility to go back into "drawing mode" today. As it's terribly hot right now, I went to the Luxembourg parc. Here people tend to go for a rest in the shadow of the trees sitting in the parcs typical chairs (those you can also see in some of D.Hockney's paintings), to play chess while others play "la petanque" or maybe take their kids to the playground. For me it's the perfect place to go to with a good book to read or with my sketchbook…

  1. J'adore ces dessins, ils sentent l'authentique et le vécu. Les poses sont très parlantes.
    J'aime aussi les chaises et leurs ombres, on peut se raconter une petite histoire en les regardant...

  2. Pour les chaises je suis daccord. J'ai failli écrire mes pensées qui partaient justement dans un délire, une histoire, qui ne aurait un sens que pour moi. Alors, je n'ai pas osé... he he
